First Project... Done!
Well, it hasn't even been a full week of school yet, and my technically my first project for a class is done. I'm in a Digital Design Journal class, in which we document our stay in Denmark digitally through photograph, and sketches that we can scan in. Through the use of Photoshop, and other programs we combine, layer, and manipulate these images to try and evoke an emotion, feeling, sense of place, or simply try to tell a story. For our first project, we had to show our first impressions, and what we thought about Copenhagen. I have a daily route to school, or pretty much anywhere else I want to go in town. I leave my apartment, get on the Metro, and get off at which ever stop I please. With this in mind, I came up with the idea to show a picture that portrayed my daily commute, as well as the images that I see and the places I can go simply by going a different route on the Metro. There are a total of 12 pictures used in this complete photo. I tried also to get a sense of the narrowness of the streets and the dynamic perspective they create when you look down them.
